Threats, insults, taunting and boasting have all been displayed by both the United States president and the North Korean dictator in what’s building up to be an epic war of words between the two leaders, and many people around the world are wondering if this is all just a form of political posturing and chest puffing, or is this a valid indication that something yuuuuge is on its way?
I myself am not certain what will come of the tweets and remarks made by Trump and the Rocket Man (Kim J. Un) or whether or not we will see WE3 break, however, I thought it would interesting to put together a list of some of the more polarizing threats and insults that have been expressed through tweets – and actual use of vocal cords – towards Kim Jong Un over the past few months.
So without typing any further, I present to you:
Trump’s War of Words
‘Get a life Loser!’
On July 3rd Trump Tweeted:
“North Korea has just launched another missile. Does this guy have anything better to do with his life?”
Kim Jong Un of North Korea, who is obviously a madman who doesn’t mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before!”
‘Fire and fury’
On August 8th, at his golf resort in New Jersey, Trump said:
“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States.”
“They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen,” he said to reporters.
When asked by reporters if he felt the comments were to threatening, he replied by saying, “If anything, maybe that statement wasn’t tough enough”.
‘Catastrophic and Unacceptable’
On August 16th, Trump tweeted: “Kim Jong Un of North Korea made a very wise and well reasoned decision,” Trump tweeted. “The alternative would have been both catastrophic and unacceptable!”
On September17th Trump tweeted:
“I spoke with President Moon of South Korea last night. Asked him how Rocket Man is doing. Long gas lines forming in North Korea. Too bad!”
During a UN speech, Trump added:
“Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself.”
‘Take The Madman Test!’
On September 22nd at 6:28am, In response to being call dotard, Trump tweeted early:
“Kim Jong Un of North Korea, who is obviously a madman who doesn’t mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before!”
President Trump has made it clear that America will not back down, nor will it show North Korea even the slightest bit of weakness regarding military action or capability. A strong defence is a strong offence, and the same can be said for verbal assaults. Moreover, it can also be said for slapping sanctions and embargo’s on the bastards, something Trump has been pushing other countries to do more of until North Korea denuclearizes.
One thing I am certain of though, is the fact that as long as America is being led by a Donald Trump administration, American citizens will be in safe hands. Because unlike previous presidents that we’ve seen in power, Trump is actually putting Americans first, and he is not afraid to fight fire with a little fire AND fury!
